B Sharp Music Foundation’s Electronic Music Scholarship Goes Viral

Las Vegas NV. – New fires are burning for singers, songwriters, musicians and performers in the world of EDM and Electronic Music Production. They are being fed by a COVID-19 pandemic reality, the limited competition for entertainment dollars. 

Music was already spiking in a pre-pandemic world and now International Data firm Nielsen predicts new peaks in streaming consumption. Major artists are ramping up and taking action.  Diplo, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, Steve Aoki and Dropkick Murphys, to name a few.

B Sharp, a Las Vegas nonprofit, has raised funds to distribute $25,000 for those with the love and talent for music. Full and partial scholarships are available for professional industry development at Las Vegas based Music Alliance Academy. This scholarship has been allocated to the Music Alliance Academy’s online course Music Management and Marketing

This 3 month part time online course will give each student an understanding the complex structure and legal side of the music industry and give the tools to navigate their strategic career plan. They will be given an insiders look at the music industry from the perspective of the artist and business manager. As well personalized career development, management, artist branding social media, distribution, sales and marketing, negotiating contracts and applying for jobs/gigs.

Music Alliance Academy
Music Alliance Academy (MAA) meets standards of excellence in education quality.

MAA is a registered post-secondary education institute under the Commission for Post-Secondary Education in Nevada (CPE). CPE is the predominant authority in licensing private educational institutions in Nevada. Their rigorous licensure process and periodic reviews ensure quality education and consumer protection for Nevada citizens and citizens receiving education based in Nevada.

Centre for Arts and Technology (CAT)
MAA’s strategic education partner, Centre for Arts and Technology (CAT), is an accredited institute under: The Ministry of Education Private Training Institutions Branch of British Columbia Canada.

CAT is also a designated school under the British Columbian Education Quality Assucarence (EQA) Program. The EQA designation is available to public and private institutions that meet or exceed quality assurance standards set by the province. EQA is established to protect and promote the province’s reputation for quality post-secondary education— both locally and internationally. Additionally, it standardizes certain student rights and protections, such as tuition protection systems.

Credit Transfer
Music Alliance Academy students may apply for CAT academic recognition of MAA completed course credits. Once the simple process is complete, this may provide Centre for Arts and Technology school diploma certification and other benefits to graduates of Music Alliance Academy.
